Firearms Sports Program

The SCOPE Firearm Sports Program offers 3 Courses:  Basic Rifle, 4-Position Rifle, & Shotgun-Trap 

This program is designed to increase the number of safe and properly educated shooters in our state by instructing youth aged 12 to 20 in safe firearm practice and marksmanship skills. Additionally, the program provides safe training opportunities for adults who are interested in the shooting sports, but lack experience with firearms. 

Our Program combines the NRA First Steps, or the NRA Basic Rifle Program, in conjunction with the NRA Marksmanship Qualification Program.

Each Course is taught by a team NRA Certified Instructors, NRA Certified Coaches, and NRA Range Safety Officers. 

Students earn official NRA program graduation certificates, patches, and nationally recognized marksmanship rankings.
